The Good and the Ugly
The NBA semifinals begin tomorrow tomorrow afternoon with a matinee at 3pm, as the Magic host the Celtics. Of course the NBA would love the Celtics taking on the Lakers in the finals bringing back memories of Magic v. Bird, but could anyone want anything else than these two most hated and loved franchises playing each other for a title. The Orlando Magic have the most dominant defensive player in Dwight Howard and Jameer Nelson is finally taking on a point guard role to win a championship, but will it be enough to stop the freight train that is Rajon Rondo and the three hall of famers. The Celtics look like they have what it takes win after steamrolling over the Lebrons (Cavs), but can they continue this dominance. As KG, whom all of us has found is not as lovable as with the T'wolves, has taken on this role of the joker being the devil, no one really cares about how many people are in his press conference. All we can hope from this series is a slug fest, and that's all we can expect. Dwight will battle KG and any other big man Doc can throw at him, and Jameer will try to contain Rondo, something a terrible basketball player, Moe Williams, could not do. This series has all the makings to be great, we all hope that the good can defeat the ugly leading to Dwight taking on the Canadian ruining everything for the NBA.
